Kawasaki Presents Its Ultimate Quarter-Litre Weapon - the 2021 Kawasaki ZX-25R

50 HP at 15,000 RPM (51 HP with Ram-Air), 30 Nm of torque at 14,500 RPM... That's a lot of power for a 250cc bike. When Kawasaki revealed the upcoming 2021 ZX-25R at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show, little did we know the Japanese manufacturer would debut the little green monster with such jaw-dropping numbers. The wait is now over! Kawasaki has launched the 2021 ZX-25R in Indonesia before it makes its way to other international markets. The bike starts from RP96,000,000 (Rs 7.99 lakh) for the standard model while the SE (special edition) costs RP112,900,000 (Rs 9.40 lakh).The Kawasaki ZX-25R is a 250cc, four-cylinder motorcycle that is coupled to a six-speed transmission. Split LED headlamp cluster, muscular fuel tank, step-up style seats, and a compact exhaust system are some of the design highlights. The bike comes equipped with a semi-digital instrument panel with a tachometer that redlines at 17,000rpm.  The ZX-25R is available in four different liveries: lime green, white/black, blue/black and black.Braking duties are carried out by a single 310mm disc clamped by a radially-mounted four-pot monobloc caliper up front and a 220mm rear disc brake. The Special Edition model will get you a dual-channel ABS, a bi-directional quickshifter for clutchless gear shift, different riding modes, and a traction control system.In terms of dimensions, the new Kawasaki ZX25R is 1980 mm long, 750 mm wide, and 1,110 mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 1,380 mm and a kerb weight of 182 kgs. Ground clearance stands at 125mm while the fuel tank capacity is 15 liters which is pretty decent for a sportbike.Similarly, suspension duties are handled by Showa 37 mm separate function forks with 120 mm wheel-travel and a pre-load adjustable rear mono-shock with 116 mm wheel-travel. Speaking of rubbers, the ZX-25R with Dunlop GPR300 radial tyres measuring in at 110/70 up front and 150/60 at the rear.Now, the big question is, will we ever see Kawasaki bikes in the Nepalese market again? Although Kawasaki bikes were available through KTM showrooms, the alliance between the two came to an end. There's no word yet on the re-introduction of the Japanese brand in the Nepalese market.
